Terms of Service
Your use of our site tells us
you have read, understand, and agreed to the
Disclaimer and these Terms of Service.
Registration is not required
to view content. However, you are required to
register if you want to create listings of books
for sale or trade, or to request to buy/trade
for books listed. If you become a registered
member of the Scribblemonger Book Exchange, you
accept responsibility for all activities that
occur under your account. If you believe someone
has accessed the Scribblemonger Book Exchange
using your username and password without your
permission, you agree to contact us immediately.
By placing material on the Scribblemonger Book
Exchange, including but not limited to listings
that offer books for sale, you represent and
warrant that you own or otherwise have all
necessary rights to the books you list and the
rights to list them. You are entirely
responsible for all the books that you list and
to the information that you provide about those
books. You affirm that the descriptions you
include with your listings are accurate and
truthful. You agree to deliver to your buyer any
book that your buyer pays for. You also agree to
pay the Scribblemonger Book Exchange any
commissions owed to it in a timely fashion in
accordance with the bookseller's agreement.
Any decisions as to whether books and
descriptions that you post violate any listing
rules will be made by the Scribblemonger Book
Exchange at its sole discretion. Prohibited
listings include:
• Anything that you do not own.
• Anything that you do not have the right to
sell or to trade.
• Any counterfeit or reproduction book not
identified as such.
• Any book or document that is illegal in the
United States or in the specific state in which
you live.
The Scribblemonger Book Exchange reserves the
right to modify this list in any way at any
time. Such modifications will be effective as
soon as they are posted.
