As you say, a status page would be a useful feature, and perhaps some error reporting for records that fail to load for any reason. This will become more important as more sellers come on board as they'll need to know what's going on without having to keep asking for support. I note my first update (1 record) appeared to take about 3 hours, but the full upload significantly less.

The large file I uploaded was an Amazon Open Listing Report that I edited. The tab separated upload file was the quickest and easiest way to go. Ultimately I'll rewrite my catalogue system so it will produce UIEE files as most selling platforms appear to support that format.

I need to check the results of the upload, and clean up the listings, before I think seriously about the Google feed. I also need to revise my prices properly. There'll be some layout changes to make, and extra info to squeeze into the description. I also need to have a think about Google's T&Cs as everything is still listed on Amazon at the same total price.

Just a thought - ignoring expedited, for the moment, I notice you have only two options for shipping - Domestic and International. I'm not sure how shipping works in the USA, but here in the UK it's a little more complicated than just the two choices. You might attract more UK sellers if you can cater for the way it works over here. Domestic costs vary according to the size and weight of the package. International costs vary according to the destination (EU or Rest-of-World) and weight. The costs can differ significantly so, perhaps, more accurate control would be worthwhile. Perhaps I've still got my Amazon hat on.

For now, though, until I check the results of the upload I'll switch on the vacation setting.

I see the full file loaded. The listings look good!

We've been thinking of having an upload status page, where you can see what files are still in the queue. Otherwise you are kind of in the dark until you see the new listings actually there.

Let us know if you want these sent to Google Product Search.

I'm almost disappointed. That one worked so I don't know what to expect when they don't!

Oh well, here goes with the full file. At least I know I can purge everything if it all goes pear-shaped...

I uploaded my first Scribblemonger format tab-separated file not far short of an hour ago. Just one record as a test. I'm not expecting it to be successful.

How do I know when it has been processed?
